Trinity Energy Limited said on Tuesday that it has secured 100 trucks of fuel to help stabilize the pump price following outcry from motorists and passengers.

Prices of petrol and diesel have risen from SSP 1,000 to SSP 1,500 per liter.

Robert Mdeza, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Trinity Energy said 100 trucks have arrived in Juba with fuel that will be distributed across fuel stations.

“We have brought 100 trucks and we will continue to bring in especially as we draw towards the festive season, but the trucks have to go and offload and continue because it is a chain,” Mdeza said during press conference held in Juba.

He said more trucks of fuel will be arriving in the country soon.

“We are ready to provide services to our customers, giving them quality fuel that matches the international standard of fuel,” Mdeza said.

He said Trinity Energy Limited aims at making fuel prices cheap to all the citizens.

“In fuel you have to used standard, you can waive from standard because if you don’t use the standard then you have issues but we have to follow standard strictly,” Mdeza said.

“We remain committed to providing our customers with high-quality fuel backed by unparalleled safety standards. We understand that the energy industry is the backbone of our economy, and we are dedicated to playing our part in ensuring a reliable and sustainable energy supply for all,” he added.
