President Kiir Directs Newly Appointed Officials to diligently serve the citizens

President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Tuesday urged the newly appointed government officials to diligently serve the citizens and the country, reminding them that their mandate was to transform the lives of the people for the better, and not to work for their personal interests.

According to the statement published on  the Facebook page of the Presidential Press Unit, the head of state  directed the newly appointed officials to live up to their constitutional bargain of delivering services and uniting the people of South Sudan.

President Kiir was speaking on Tuesday while swearing in the ministers who were assigned new portfolios.

President Kiir on Monday appointed Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro as the Minister of Presidential Affairs replacing Barnaba Marial Benjamin and Dak Duop Bichiok Minister of Public Service and Human Resource Development who replaced Bakosoro .

President Kiir also appointed William Anyuon as Minister of Trade and Industry replacing Kuol Athian  and Kuol Muor Muor who replaced Manhiem Bol Malek as Governor of Warrap State.

The new officials in their oath pledged to foster development and promote the welfare of the people.
