The Chairperson of SPLM national youth league, Daniel Aboucha Ali has accused intellectuals and political elites hailing from Warrap state of inciting communal violence that has killed hundreds this year.

“Communal conflict in Warrap state has been orchestrated by the intellectuals in Juba and in Warrap state,” said Aboucha during consultative meeting organized by the Kuol Muor Muor, the Governor of Warrap state on Tuesday at freedom hall in Juba.

He cautioned the intellectuals and political leaders present at the consultative meeting to refrain from inciting communal violence because it is hurting the image of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in the state.

“If you are a member of SPLM and you have a hand in the ongoing conflict in Warrap state you better desist from that now because SPLM will never tolerate such behavior,” said Aboucha.

Aboucha reiterated that the SPLM party is working for peace and unity not only in Warrap state but across the country.

He advised the Governor of Warrap state Kuol Mour Mour people o Mour Mour to learn from the strategies being implemented in Lakes state by Governor Rin Tueny Mabor.

Mabor has managed within a short period to transform the once restive Lakes state into a peaceful and secure state.
