Warrap state minister hails successful completion of CSE exams

The Minister for General Education and Instruction in Warrap state, Achuil Malei has appreciated the Vice President for Service Cluster, Hussein Abdalebegi Akol and the National Minister of General Education and Instruction Awut Deng Acuil for the proper planning that saw this year’s Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) end without examination malpractices.

The Minister for General Education and Instruction in Warrap state, Achuil Malei has appreciated the Vice President for Service Cluster, Hussein Abdalebegi Akol and the National Minister of General Education and Instruction Awut Deng Acuil for the proper planning that saw this year’s Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) end without examination malpractices.

Malei said that CSE examination began on December 4 and ended on December 14 2023 without any serious incident of malpractices.

He said that South Sudan’s image was smeared within the region due to rampant examination malpractices.

Malei said that Warrap state registered 2,377 candidates of which 1,697 were males and 680 females who sat for their certificate of secondary education.

He also criticized candidates who went on strike over the toughness of the examination, saying they realized that avenues of cheating had been closed.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Malei appreciated the security organs including the leadership of the national police and national security services for improving security during this year’s examination.
