"We Dare where others fear"

The spokesperson for the national police service Maj.Gen Daniel Justin Buolo has called upon drivers to respect traffic rules to avoid accidents.
This came after two people lost their lives during the Christmas festive season.
“Two people died in road accident along Gudele road in the last two days of Christmas, and I am calling upon the drivers to respect the traffic rules and avoid over-speeding especially during the festive season,” said Justin during an interview with The Dawn on Wednesday in Juba.
He said that Christmas celebration so far have been peaceful despite some minor isolated incidents that he particularly blamed on rogue Boda-boda riders.
“The Christmas was really very fine this time, of course we made a very good deployment, we have forces everywhere in the markets, churches, celebration places and along the street, generally the security situation is calm,” said Justin.
He said that there are some minor incidents of boda-boda and also they lost two people yesterday along Gudele road and other minor cases.
Justin disclosed that the accident which claimed the two lives happened along seven eleven road in Gudele.
He said that police have not recorded any serious crime during Christmas celebration across the country.
Justin added that the police deployed enough personnel to ensure safety of the public and prevent criminal activities.
He also commended the citizens the citizens for their cooperation with the security forces and in maintaining peace and order in the city.
Justin said that the same cooperation should continue even during the upcoming New Year festival on 31st December, adding that they are ready to respond to any emergency calls.
