The Governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony has directed state senior government officials to embrace spirit of collegiality, consolidate peace and security ahead of the 2024 general elections.
He re-directed the State Senior Government Officials in their various capacities to embrace the spirit of collegiality regardless of their political affiliations and consolidate sustainable peace, security and stability as they embark to execute on their designated mandate in this New Year, revealed information published on the Facebook page of the Office of the Governor
The Governor spoke during an expanded cabinet briefing that brought on board cabinet advisors, ministers and chairpersons of the state independent commissions.
Governor Adil also re-directed the officials to jumpstart efforts on revival of the economy across the state through creating a conducive environment for the farmers to embark on agriculture, noting that feeder roads are essential in fast-tracking farmers to market their produce to the potential buyers.
He also reiterated on the Government’s commitment towards accelerating return of the people from the neighboring countries or camps to their ancestral lands ahead of the 2024 General Elections given the prevailing relative peace in the Country.
It is worth mentioning that this is the first ever meeting of the Year since the top authority resumed his gubernatorial duties from the onset of this Year with renewed momentum towards delivering tangible social services to the people across the State.
