The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) party cadres will be attending training in Rumbek town next week to prepare them for the upcoming general election in December 2024.
Kuol Atem, the secretary for the SPLM caucus at the national secretariat in Juba told journalists on Saturday in Rumbek, that the SPLM party officials will train party youth on how to campaign for the party during elections.
The deputy chairperson for SPLM youth league Ayar Deng Monywach is part of the SPLM team that arrived in Rumbek town.
Stephen Mathiang Deng Monydit, the Lakes state minister of cabinet affairs said that the three-day training will provide opportunity for the trainees to learn about aims, objectives and mission of the SPLM.
Asunta Buoda James, the SPLM state secretary said that the SPLM remains committed to empower youth to build the party.
