SPLM trains cadres in Central Equatoria state on upcoming elections

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) on Thursday commenced the induction training for party cadres aimed at equipping them with skills to campaign and mobilize during the upcoming 2024 general election.

 Emmanuel Adil Antony the Governor of Central Equatoria state appealed to youth under the SPLM to embrace peace and unity to help realize success in the elections slated for December.

“The training will help in preparing for elections, we have to organize ourselves, you to tell the public the program of SPLM, the preparation must start earlier to succeed, we have to mobilize,” Antony said during the opening ceremony in Juba.

“We will win the election, I want youth, women and men to unite, you are going to move from payam to payam to train party members, for any county to succeed it rely on the organization of the party,” he added.

Santo Malek Anei, the Secretary for Political Affairs and Mobilization for the SPLM said that they are well organized and ready to challenge any political opponent in the elections.

Anne Kaku, SPLM Secretary General for Central Equatoria state reaffirmed the readiness of the  SPLM cadres to work together to push forward the party’s agenda.

“We are here for the mission, we the youth are the backbone, we believe as Central Equatoria State we have the workforce and are ready for the 2024 elections despite challenges,” Kaku said.
