Governor Mabor eulogizes Gen .Chut for being loyal to SPLM

The Governor of Lakes State Rin Tueny Mabor has described the late former Governor of the State Matur Chut Dhuol as a person who never engaged in intrigue and stayed loyal to his party Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM).

Mabor said that Chut who joined the then rebel movement in 1984 never betrayed anyone and also did not at any one time abandon the SPLM.

He was speaking on Thursday during funeral prayers held for the late Matur Chut in Rumbek.

 Mabor pledged to support the family of Machut Tur who leaves behind 18 wives and 140 children.

The Commissioner of Yirol East County Manyang Luk Lueth encouraged the family of Matur Chut to remain strong and maintain his exemplary legacy.

He eulogized Matur Chut for putting up wall fence around Rumbek freedom square, the state secretariat, the state lodge, state assembly and some state ministries.

 Luk added that Chut directed all offices along the road to the State secretariat including KCB, Ivory Bank, the prison service, civil defense and wildlife to fence their buildings.

Kwame Dwamena Aboagye, the head UNMISS field office in Rumbek said that Chut always listened to proposals of people and always supported peace in the state.
