"We Dare where others fear"

With funding from the Norwegian people’s aid, the Christian Agency for Peace and Development (CAPaD) Bor’s field office on Thursday launched HAKBITANA roadshow campaign on the right to vote.
The campaign also enlightened citizens on electoral mechanisms during the upcoming December election which set a true inspiration for young people.
The campaign aimed to “enlighten citizens about their right to vote, which a fundamental right is granted by law to all citizens above the age of 18.”
The campaign target 3600 people including 2000 men and 1600 women, and started from the office at Akuot Ayuol roundabout, went up to NRC roundabout, and continued to Marol market and other streets, before returning to the office.
“The purpose of this campaign was to empower the community and encourage them to exercise their right to vote during the upcoming 2024 election,” it said.
“By casting their vote, every citizen can influence the future of their country and play an active role in shaping it. Let this campaign serve as a reminder of the power we all hold as citizens and inspire us to use it wisely.”
