SPLM to inaugurate political education school in Maridi

The Vice President for Economic Cluster who also doubles as the First Deputy Chairperson for the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM), James Wani Igga has traveled to Maridi to inaugurate SPLM political school.

Santo Malek Anai, the SPLM Secretary for Political Affairs and Mobilization, on Monday said that the SPLM political education school was first stationed in Lobonok of Central Equatoria state before its transfer to Maridi County of Western Equatoria State.

“The first deputy chairperson and other senior dignitaries traveled to Maridi County to inaugurate the SPLM political education school, it was already established but it has been reallocated to Maridi as approved by the political bureau,” said Malek in an interview in Juba.

Malek revealed that the high-level delegation includes Daniel Awet Akot, the second deputy chairperson for SPLM, Bol Makueng, the SPLM secretary for external relations, and Daniel Abocha Ali, the chairperson for SPLM youth League among others.

“We have already started training and also we have trainers under the SPLM youth league, we have classes every Saturday and we have so far graduated more than 3000 cadres,” he disclosed.
