"We Dare where others fear"

MTN MoMo, the MTN South Sudan Mobile Money wallet has expanded transaction and remittance capability internationally, the Telecom’s Chief Executive Officer of MTN Fintech, Francis Matseketka, said.
Remittance is now capable to regional countries including Uganda and Kenya as well as to America, Europe, Asia and Australia, Matseketka told reporters in Juba yesterday.
He said the expansion will include acceleration of financial inclusion across international borders.
“We are excited to announce the launch our latest innovation that will enable customers to receive money from other countries as well as to send money to other countries conveniently vie MTN Momo,” Matseketka said.
“MTN Fintech in its journey to drive financial inclusion has announce international remittances in our efforts to drive, accelerate and deepen financial inclusion and banking in South Sudan,” he said.
Albino Chol, the commissioner of Domestic Tax for the South Sudan National Revenue Authority said the government will benefit from the MTN Mobile Money in term of revenue including the business profit tax.
Denis Lejugbo, the Head of Communication and Brand for MTN South Sudan said MTN Fintech has achieved a progressively significant milestone with the launch of its international money remittance.
“It represents some exciting development that promises to enhance financial connectivity for customers across borders, we also congratulate MTN Fintech on the separation from the tradition to support the financial inclusion agenda,” said Lejugbo.
“At MTN we firmly believe everyone deserve a fair fix of a modern and connected world and we are committed to ensuring that none is left behind, as MTN network continue to expand MTN Fintech will leverage infrastructure to reach a broader audience ,” he said.
