"We Dare where others fear"

Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) supporters from greater Equatoria region will endorse President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Saturday as the sole candidate for the upcoming presidential elections scheduled for December 2024.
Mary Apayi Ayiga, the SPLM deputy secretary general for administration and finance and also chairperson of greater Equatoria region endorsement high-level committee on Friday called on the general public to attend the endorsement rally to be held in Juba.
“The Greater Equatoria Endorsement High- Level Committee for the endorsement of President Salva Kiir Mayardit as the sole SPLM flagbearer and the presidential candidate for the forthcoming December 2024 general election, hereby, announce to the general public that the Greater Equatoria endorsement rally will take place on May 25, 2024,” Ayiga said in a statement.
“This is a popular political endorsement of the SPLM chairman by his people of Greater Equatoria region, and I cordially invite SPLM political bureau members, national liberation council members, eminent personalities, SPLM cadres and members and well-wishers to attend this colorful event,” it added.
The rally scheduled to be held at Dr.John Garang Mausoleum is organized by Greater Equatoria region under the theme “your humility, leadership and wisdom bind us together.”
In December 2022, the SPLM national liberation council nominated President Salva Kiir Mayardit as it’s flag bearer in the December 2024 general elections.
