"We Dare where others fear"

The Chief Administrator of the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA), Gola Boyoi Gola on Monday vowed to address insecurity in the restive region in the aftermath of attacks on civilians.
“Our administration is resolute in its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of travelers, including those who are providing essential services to our communities,” said Gola in a statement.
His remarks come in the wake of an attack on May 23, 2024 in Gumuruk on vehicles carrying telecommunication equipment that resulted in the killing of one security personnel.
“While promising to hold these criminals accountable and bringing them to justice, we would like to assure mobile network operators that their looted items will be recovered, we are committed to providing a safe environment for their operations,” said Gola.
“We will continue to work closely with the national government to implement robust security measures to protect all travelers and businesses operating in Greater Pibor administrative Area,” he added.
