"We Dare where others fear"

As conflicts erupt worldwide threatening global security and coexistence, hope for peace has emerged from citizens.
On June 4th, over 20 young people gathered at an open space office in Juba to participate in the 11th anniversary celebration of the Declaration of World Peace and the Peace Walk event hosted by Heavenly Culture, World Peace, and Restoration of Light (HWPL).
During the event, about 30 guests signed membership forms to become part of the HWPL peace growing networks.
Held under the theme “Communication for Global Citizenship of Reconciliation and Tolerance” the event aimed to cultivate and share a global culture of peace.
The flagship event commenced on June 20 at open space office in Juba, was organized in partnership with Junub Open Space in South Sudan
The campaigns, including mechanical education, computer training, hygiene education, cultural performances, and efforts to eradicate hate speech.
Martin Odu, a financial officer in South Sudan said promoting peace can also contribute to the resolution of conflicts and the prevention of future violence.
“By engaging in dialogue, mediation, and reconciliation efforts, we can address the root causes of conflict and find sustainable solutions that address the needs and concerns of all parties involved,” Odu said.
He urged “Organizations worldwide, in alliance with HWPL as peace solidarity, urge Iran and Israel to put a stop to the acts of aggression immediately and to come forward for conversations to usher in peace”.
Founded in 2013, HWPL is a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the goal of achieving world peace and the cessation of war.
With over 70 branches in Korea and another 100 branches around the world including the Philippines, HWPL is committed to a practical approach to world peace through the establishment of international peace initiatives in legal, social and religious aspects.
