Rumbek East County hails president Kiir for the prevailing tranquility

People in Rumbek East County in Lakes State can now have sleep and in the morning go to till their farms due to the prevailing peace since the appointment of Rin Tueny Mabor as Governor of the State by President Salva Kiir Mayardit .

People in Rumbek East County in Lakes State can now have sleep and in the morning  go to till their farms due to the prevailing peace since the appointment of Rin Tueny Mabor as Governor of the State by President Salva Kiir Mayardit .

Mangar Machuol Malok , the Commissioner of Rumbek East County said that the once restive Lakes State discovered peace after President Salva Kiir Mayardit appointed Rin Tueny Mabor to head the State.

Malok lauded President Salva Kiir for his bold decision to change the leadership of Lakes State by appointing Gen. Rin Tueny Mabor as the Governor in 2021.

Daniel Dhieu Matuet, MP representing Wulu Constituency No. 4, said prior to the appointment of Rin Tueny Mabor, the State had been terrorized by thugs, armed robbers and unknown gun men.

Matuet urged the people of Rumbek East County to fully embark on agricultural production in order to improve food security in the State.

Benjamin Makuer Mabor Nak, Advisor on Legal Affairs to the government of Lakes State thanked Dr. John Garang De Mabior for anointing his successor President Salva Kiir Mayardit in Rumbek freedom square in 2005.

 He said thanked the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) for grooming pragmatic and development oriented leaders  such as Rin Tueny Mabor.

Akhol Manyang Magom, the Mayor of Rumbek municipal council thanked Rumbek East County for hosting freedom fighters during the decades long struggle for the independence of South Sudan.

Majak Deng Mabok, Executive Chief of Maleng-Agok Payam appealed to the government officials to sensitize the people in the cattle camp to stop misusing the national flag.
