"We Dare where others fear"

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramadan Mohamed Abdallah Goc on Wednesday urged the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to focus on developmental projects in the country.
Goc revealed these remarks during a meeting in Juba with Dr. Mohamed Abshir, the new UNDP Resident Representative.
The two officials discussed potential areas of cooperation between UNDP and the government.
In a statement posted on foreign Affairs official facebook page Goc extended a warm welcome to Dr. Abshir and highlighted the strong working relationship between the government and UNDP, urging the organization to focus on developmental projects.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to cooperate with UNDP and address any critical matters that may arise.
Dr. Abshir expressed his deep gratitude for the opportunity to serve the people and government of South Sudan, stating that he will use his tenure to further foster collaboration and ensure UNDP remains a strong partner to the government and people of South Sudan.
