"We Dare where others fear"

The United Sudan African Party has maintained the sacking of Joseph Malek Arop who served as the Secretary General for the Youth League of the Party.
The sacking of Arop was first announced in July 2021.
Party officials however claim Arop has continued to portray himself as an official of USAP.
Prior to his predicament, Arop was a signatory to a peace agreement reached by South Sudanese leaders in 2015 to end conflict in the country.
That deal fell flat though and was replaced by a 2018 pact to which Arop no longer signed.
Over the weekend, the Spokesperson for USAP, Philip Jiben Ogal said Arop remains dismissed from the party since 2018.
According to Ogal, Arop used his presence at the talks in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital where talks took place before the 2015 pact to engage other parties in discussions and agreements without being sanctioned by USAP.
Ogal said Arop contravened articles 2 and 5 of the constitution of the party and was duly dismissed.
