The Transitional National Legislative Assembly is back in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.

On Monday, the First Deputy Speaker Oyet Nathaniel Pierino adjourned the sitting for Tuesday, due to the faulty microphones.

This is happening at a time when the recently renovated parliament was opened amid glamour and pomp.

This building cost the taxpayer huge money, when it was renovated but what appears glittering on the outside seems deceptive to the eye.

Negative and dramatic events seem unending in this honorable house, and all this is costing the government and tax payers’ huge money.

The leadership of parliament needs to fix the mess in the house. Time is running out and yet there are a lot of bills and other business to be handled quickly by MPs.

MPs need to audit themselves and come up with the requisite solutions to end the persistent power blackouts and faulty equipment once and for all.
