The Warrap State Council of Ministers on Thursday approved a three-month work plan for improving communication services alongside renaming GogrialState radio as Warrap State radio.
William Wol Mayom, the Warrap State Minister of Information and Communication said that the Council of Ministers chaired by Kuol Muor Muor, the Governor of Warrap State has approved purchase of media equipment.
“The approved plans include changing the name of Radio Gogrial State FM to Warrap State Radio 99:00 FM, approval of Warrap State Website Domain as Warrap State gov.ss and approval to purchase media equipment,” said Mayom in a statement.
Mayom said that the council of ministers also approved the purchase of 3 motorcycles as mobility for reporters and other equipment.
He revealed that the plan will also include renovation of the studio and reactivation of solar power to generate power to operate the radio.
“The Council finally agreed to form a three-member Governance cluster committee to scrutinize the procurement of the proposed purchase list and retable it in the next Council meeting,” said Mayom.
