"We Dare where others fear"

President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Friday presided over the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Minister of Presidential Affairs, Chol Mawut Ajongo and the Deputy Governor of Central Equatoria State, Paulino Lukudu Obede.
In a statement issued on presidential press unit Facebook page, Kiir expressed his confidence in Ajongo’s capabilities given his ambassadorial experience, noting that his outstanding record as a career diplomat will play a decisive role in advancing the government’s vision and enhancing engagement with the citizens.
He also emphasized the cardinal role of the Minister of Presidential Affairs in coordinating crucial policy initiatives, and fostering communication between the presidency and other government branches as the country prepares for the forthcoming general elections.
Amb. Chol Mawut Ajongo, who prior to his appointment was serving as the country’s Ambassador to Kenya, expressed gratitude for the opportunity accorded to serve in this new capacity.
The Deputy Governor of Central Equatoria State, Paulino Lukudu Obede was also sworn into office before the President, as he assumed his duties in the State.
