The diaspora community of Lakes State has mobilized and remitted funds to support flood affected people in Rumbek East County.
Rev.Mathew Mading Malok Madul, Bishop of Akot Diocese of Lakes State told journalists upon his arrival at Rumbek Airport from Australia on Tuesday that the diaspora community held fundraising to secure funds to support the flood victims.
Thousands of people in Rumbek East County and neighboring counties are homeless due to devastating floods.
Farm produce has been submerged and destroyed by floods.
