"We Dare where others fear"

The African Evangelical Association has renovated St. Mark primary school in Kwerjik along the Juba- Terekeka road in a bid to improve learning atmosphere for learners.
Bush Buse, the chairperson of the organizing committee, said that the African Evangelical Association plans to also establish secondary and tertiary education nearby St. Mark primary school.
“African Evangelical Association plans also to build a secondary school and university to the community of Kwerijik, so that their children can study within their home area than going to the neighboring countries for studies,” said Buse in a statement on Tuesday.
He said that qualified teachers are lacking at St.Mark primary school, adding that they are in the process of getting these teachers to teach the school.
Ray Mundari, Director of Deo Volente organization said they will continue to help the people of Kwerijiik in education, health and peacebuilding.
“The four renovated class rooms will shelter the pupils from rain while learning, I urge the parents of to send their children to school so that they can help their parents in future,” said Mundari.
Martin Ayom, the chief of Kwerijik welcomed the initiative by the church, saying that children were previously learning under trees at St.Mark primary school.
Juma Ali Malou, MP representing Terekeka County in the national legislative assembly urged the Mundari community in Kwerijiik to maintain peaceful coexistence with their counterparts in Terekeka, Tindilo, Tali and also with other neighboring communities of Bari and Nyangbara.
“We need education because it brings unity, different communities must allow their children to study in the new renovated St. Mark primary school in Kwerijik,” said Malou.
