Henry Bangada, the new County Commissioner of Nagero, has pledged to prioritize unity, peace, and reconciliation in his administration.
In his inaugural statement yesterday, Bangada emphasized his commitment to fostering harmony among the people of Nagero County and the broader Western Equatoria State.
Bangada who was appointed as the Commissioner of Nagero County recently expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Governor of Western Equatoria State, Alfred Futuyo Karaba.
He extended special thanks to South Sudan’s Vice President and Chairman of SPLM-IO, Dr. Riek Machar, and to President Salva Kiir Mayardit for endorsing his appointment.
Speaking to The Dawn Bangada vowed to be lead an all-inclusive administration comprising of all tribes in Nagero County.
“The issues of tribalism is over. My administration will focus on fostering unity, peace, and development among all our people,” he said.
Acknowledging the challenges ahead, Bangada pledged to lead with dedication, fairness, and integrity.
“I will serve the people of Nagero County wholeheartedly. My goal is to unite our community and ensure peace prevails,” he said.
Bangada called on the people of Nagero to work together with his administration, ensuring a collaborative approach to building a stronger, more united county.
His appointment has been met with optimism, with many hoping his leadership will bring stability and development to Nagero County.
