"We Dare where others fear"

Halgan FC thrashed Prime Way FC 6-1 in the opening match of the Somali super league in Juba.
Halgan FC opened the scoring in the 28th minute and added two more goals in the first half.
Prime Way came back strong with the aim of equalizing, but their hopes were dashed as Halgan scored three more goals in the second half.
Jama Hassan, the Somali Ambassador in South Sudan, thanked the Somali Football Association in South Sudan (SASS) and the Somali community for taking the initiative to bring the community together.
He encouraged young Somalis in Juba and around South Sudan to conduct their business in a way that promotes peaceful cooperation.
According to him, they cannot conduct business successfully in South Sudan unless there is peace and unity among them.
“I am happy to see you embarking on such a vital initiative while in Juba, such competition can not only unite you here but also across South Sudan. I thank you for that, and keep it up, and we are ready to support you,” said Hassan.
“I know most of you are here for specifically business but most importantly you need to be united,” he added.
The launch of the league was attended by a representative from the South Sudan Football Association, as well as local football fans in around Juba.
The Chairperson of the Somali Football Association in South Sudan (SASS), Ahmed Saidiq, urged the players to concentrate on playing football with the desire to promote peace and unity in the community. The competition is organized by the Somali Football Association in South Sudan in partnership with the embassy of Somalia.
The Somalia Super League competition brought together 12 teams, including Mogadishu FC, Halgan FC, Prime Way FC, Tawakal FC, Gudele FC, Happy FC, Tako FC, Taam FC, Golden Gam FC, Frontia FC, Nelba FC, and Primer Airline FC.
