The Governor of Central Equatoria State, Augustino Jadalla Kamilo, has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering peace and unity among communities during his recent visit to various counties, payams, and bomas in the state.
This visit is part of his broader tour across the state’s counties, aimed at consolidating “durable peace, unity, security, and stability” throughout Central Equatoria State.
Speaking during the visit to Juba County on Friday, the Governor of Central Equatoria State, Augustino Jadalla Wani, emphasised the importance of restoring lasting peace and ensuring the security of citizens.
“My visit serves as a testament to our dedication to building peace among the people in Central Equatoria State,” he said.
Jadalla highlighted President Salva Kiir’s commitment to peace, stating, “The President has approved efforts to restore lasting peace and has urged the people of Juba County to support these initiatives.”
Jadalla outlined three key objectives of his visit: “First, to assess the living conditions of the people; second, to evaluate the challenges they face and the humanitarian assistance required; and third, to strengthen unity among the people of Central Equatoria State.”
Meanwhile, Juba County Commissioner Emmanuel Tete Ezbon has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to tackling corruption and ensuring efficient resource utilisation for the benefit of the people of Juba County.”We are dedicated to transparency and accountability,” Ezbon stated. “Public resources must be used effectively to bring real improvements in infrastructure and services for our people.”

“We welcome the governor’s involvement, and we are preparing for his visit to all our payams,” Ezbon said. “This will allow him to see firsthand the progress we are making and the challenges we still face.”
Ezbon highlighted efforts to strengthen peace and security across the payams and bomas, improve infrastructure, and enhance service delivery.He also noted that major development projects were underway, including the completion of the Juba County Headquarters and the Juba County Modern Maternity Hospital.
“These projects are essential for our county’s growth,” he emphasised. “The maternity hospital, in particular, will provide much-needed healthcare services to our mothers and children.”
Ezbon underscored the county’s focus on opening roads in demarcated areas and creating new bomas to improve administrative efficiency.
“Better roads mean better access to services and economic opportunities for our people,” he explained. “We are working hard to ensure that all our payams are well-connected.”
Ezbon assured residents that his leadership remains steadfast in combating corruption and ensuring resources are utilised effectively.“Our people deserve development, not mismanagement,” he concluded.
The tour of the governor to Juba County marking the conclusion of his tour of the Central Equatoria State counties as planned last year with the aim to foster unity among the people in the state.
