"We Dare where others fear"

The Country Director of Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) Henrik Stabell, on Friday arrived in Yambio to attend the 3rd anniversary celebration of the Azande Kingdom.
He was accompanied by Julius Banda, Country Director of UNESCO.
The Prime Minister of Azande kingdom, Prince Tadeo Sasa Mario, expressed his pleasure in welcoming the guests and noted that the kingdom is prepared to receive additional attendees arriving for the upcoming celebrations scheduled for February 9.
Stabell expressed his happiness at being invited to the Azande kingdom’s celebrations, highlighting the warm reception he received as a testament to the peace efforts by both the kingdom and the state government.
“Today I’m in Yambio for the celebrations and as partners we will still continue to support the kingdom with all kinds of support so that the kingdom can grow faster,” he said.
“I am happy with the Azande king for inviting different tribes to attend the celebrations. This is the kind of solidarity that we need as the partners of peace,” he said.
The arrival of these distinguished guests marks the beginning of a series of events leading up to the 3rd anniversary celebration and the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of the Azande kingdom.
The kingdom continues to prepare for the festivities, with more delegates expected to arrive in the coming days.
