Wani disclosed that the SPLM party has already developed good policies to enhance its programs.
Mary Apai Ayiga, the SPLM Deputy Secretary General said that Wani’s appointment to position of Secretary General will strengthen party cohesion, adding that this also marks new page for the party.
Kuol Manyang Juuk, Senior Presidential Advisor and Second Deputy Chairman of the SPLM asked the party’s national secretariat should work hard to build the country.
“The SPLM secretariat must come up with programs to make people understand that wealth is made by people,” said Juuk
“The country is liberated, let us build our country, we need commitment to do a lot for our country,” he added.
In February, President Salva Kiir Mayardit relieved James Wani Igga as Vice President for Economic Cluster and appointed him as Secretary General replacing, Peter Lam Both, who was the interim Secretary General of the party.
