Police Records 5 Deaths Within One Week

The South Sudan National Police Service has reported five deaths and five injuries within last week across the country.
Col. John Kassara Koang Nhial, spokesperson for the South Sudan National Police Service said that on April 21, 2025 three male victims were found shot dead by unknown armed criminals in Jebel Lado.

Government set to introduce PCV, Rotavirus vaccine in May

The national ministry of health is set to introduce Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) and Rotavirus vaccine on May 27, 2025 in public health facilities across the country.
George Legge, the Manager of Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) at the National Ministry of Health said the plan to introduce PCV and Rotavirus was conceived in 2021.

Lakes State Records 12 Measles cases

Lakes State has recorded 12 cases of measles after testing 30 samples from 184 suspected cases.
Maker Malok, the State Director General for the Ministry of Health on Monday told The Dawn, that the cases were confirmed last week from samples collected in Rumbek East, Rumbek Center, Cueibet, and Wulu County after samples were sent to the public health laboratory in Juba.
