"We Dare where others fear"

The Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba, Cardinal Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla, on Monday joined Christians in mourning the passing of Holy Father, Pope Francis.
Mullah said Pope Francis dedicated his life to serving God and humanity, adding that his papacy was marked by a commitment to helping the poor and promoting dialogue and peace among all people.
“During his time as Pope, Francis made significant contributions to the Church and the world He championed the cause of the marginalized, advocated for justice and reconciliation, and inspired millions with his message of love and mercy,” he said.
Mullah said the College of Cardinals is now entrusted with the responsibility of making arrangements for the funeral rites of Pope Francis.
“The Cardinals will gather in Rome to begin the process of selecting his successor. The government of the Church is entrusted to the College of Cardinals solely for the dispatch of ordinary business and of matters which cannot be postponed,” he said.
“Let us join together in prayer, offering our condolences and seeking solace in our shared faith during this time of mourning. May the soul of Pope Francis rest in etemal peace,” Mullah said.
