The Tecno Company Limited, in collaboration with MTN South Sudan, has introduced the new Camon 40 series smartphone. Priced at 1,316,000 South Sudanese Pounds, this device is available in markets across 10 states and 3 administrative areas, highlighting its advanced camera system.
Henry Khamis, the Brand Manager for Tecno South Sudan, stated that the Tecno Camon 40 series, launched in partnership with MTN South Sudan, features a long-lasting battery that ensures both performance and comfort for users.
“It is a powerful style and a smartphone companion built for today’s dynamic lifestyle. With its advanced camera system, it delivers stunning images in any lighting condition, while the long-lasting battery and sleek design ensure performance and comfort,” said Khamis.
Khamis revealed that the Tecno Camon 40 series can capture clear images while running down the street without losing focus. The new phone is powered by artificial intelligence (AI), allowing users to simply speak to the device to execute commands.
“Tecno has always stood for accessible innovation, and the Camon 40 is proof of that mission. We are proud to continue empowering users with high-quality, affordable technology designed specifically for their needs,” he said.
Michael Amou Anyang, the Managing Director for Tecno South Sudan, stated that the Tecno Camon 40 series is available in the market and at MTN offices, offered at affordable prices along with a free 9 GB data bundle every month.
“When you look at the design of the phone and consider its future, it is all about technology. This phone is powered by innovative technology, which supports the flagship camera,” said Anyang.
Khamis Waiwai, the Product and Service Manager for MTN South Sudan, mentioned that the launch of the Camon 40 series is part of a data bundling initiative, ensuring that all smartphones entering South Sudan are bundled with free data.
“As MTN, we are dedicated to delivering digital transformation in South Sudan, and it is our responsibility to ensure that everyone across the country is connected. We ensure that all smartphones entering South Sudan come with a free data bundle,” said Anyang.
“We made sure that for those who acquire one starting today, you will receive 9 GB, plus an additional 3 GB every month for the next three months. So, the Camon 40 represents a new design and a new level that we have been eagerly awaiting,” he said.
