Health Minister,  Save the Children Director Meet to Boost Child Healthcare

The national Minister of Health, Hon. Sarah Cleto Rial, met with Mr. Christopher Nyamandi, Country Director of Save the Children, to discuss ongoing efforts and partnerships aimed at improving essential health services for children across South Sudan.

The national Minister of Health, Hon. Sarah Cleto Rial, met with Mr. Christopher Nyamandi, Country Director of Save the Children, to discuss ongoing efforts and partnerships aimed at improving essential health services for children across South Sudan.

In a statement posted on the official page of the Health Ministry, Minister Rial welcomed Mr. Nyamandi during a courtesy visit to discuss the organisation’s initiatives in providing essential health services for children in South Sudan.

The discussion focus on the needs of children in the country, particularly regarding nutrition and access to basic health services.

“During the meeting, Hon. Sarah Cleto Rial underscored the significance of collaboration in tackling the  the nation’s nutrition challenges and ensuring the welfare of children in South Sudan,” the statement noted.

Mr. Nyamandi reaffirmed Save the Children’s commitment to ensuring that all children in South Sudan can survive, learn, and grow, ultimately contributing to the nation’s development.

He also congratulated Hon. Rial on her appointment as the National Minister of Health.
