"We Dare where others fear"

The Governor of Central Equatoria State, Lt. Gen. Rabi Mujung Emmanuel, has called on all citizens to embrace forgiveness and reconciliation, stressing that the state’s shared interest lies in restoring lasting peace and stability.
He urged communities to set aside differences and work together towards a harmonious future.
In a statement issued by his press unit on Sunday, after addressing the congregation at St. Thereza Cathedral in Kator, he emphasised the need for unity among the people of the state in order to restore peace.
He reiterated the call for forgiveness and reconciliation, emphasising that the state’s shared interest lies in restoring lasting peace and stability.
Gen. Mujung echoed the call for peace, unity, and security, stating that restoring stability is a shared responsibility.
“This is a collective responsibility of all stakeholders in the state,” Mujung said in a statement issued by his press unit.
He urged the Bari community to remain united, noting that their internal cohesion is vital to overcoming the existing challenges facing the community.
He appealed to parents to take greater responsibility in guiding their children and preventing them from falling into criminal groups, particularly gangs.
He called for home-grown solutions to engage holdout groups operating in Morobo and Yei Counties to join peace efforts.
