"We Dare where others fear"

President Salva Kiir Mayardit has engaged with the Deputy Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, Malik Agar, to strengthen bilateral relations between South Sudan and Sudan, focusing on enhancing economic and security cooperation.
Ambassador Monday Semaya Kumba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, briefed the media after the meeting, stating that the talks centred on enhancing comprehensive economic relations between the two countries.
Kumba noted that the visiting Sudanese delegation briefed President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Sudan’s current security and economic environment, adding that the discussion also involved the context of regional peace and security.
“We assured our brothers and sisters in Sudan of Juba’s unwavering commitment to peaceful cooperation and common development,” said Kumba, reiterating that South Sudan is dedicated to continuing to enhance friendly relations with Sudan.
Issam Mohammed Hassan Karrar, the Sudanese Ambassador to South Sudan, revealed that his country is committed to further strengthening relations with South Sudan across all sectors, including economic and security.
