These violations include charging school fees in foreign currency and preventing students from attending classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The suspension, issued on Monday, October 9, 2026, by Caretaker Minister Lupai Satimon Andrew, followed an inspection by the State Ministry of General Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;The inspection found that the school had failed to comply with the minimum operating requirements and standards applicable to private schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Juba Integrated High School, Kadoro Branch, was found to be in non-compliance with applicable education laws, regulations, standards, and directives,&#8221; the order stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lupai also accused the school management of preventing learners from attending classes without lawful or substantial justification, thereby interfering with their right to access education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The minister directed the school management to fully comply with approved operating procedures and minimum standards for private schools and immediately cease unjustified restrictions on student attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The order requires the school management to submit a written commitment and corrective action plan within five calendar days from the date of issuance. This plan must outline how the school will address the identified violations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Specifically, Lupai demanded that the school:&#8221;Comply fully with the approved Standard Operating Procedures and all applicable minimum operating standards for private schools.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Immediately cease preventing learners from attending classes without lawful and substantial justification.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that &#8220;Comply with the Ministry&#8217;s directives on the currency in which school fees may be charged and collected.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Submit a written commitment and corrective action plan to the Ministry, clearly outlining the measures to be undertaken to remedy all identified violations and ensure continued compliance.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lupai stated that a follow-up inspection would be conducted after receiving the required documents to verify the school&#8217;s compliance with the directives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Kadoro branch is prohibited from resuming operations until the ministry confirms satisfactory compliance and issues written authorization for reopening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The order warns that operating without authorization during the suspension period could lead to further administrative or legal action under applicable laws and regulations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Equatoria State Ministry of General Education and Instruction has suspended Juba Integrated High School, Kadoro Branch, for alleged violations of education regulations.
