The Presidency confirmed that Santo remains in his position, maintains cordial working relationships, and is currently abroad on an official mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rumors stemmed from a social media report claiming that Santo had &#8220;vanished&#8221; from his office due to a &#8220;battle for supremacy&#8221; within the Presidency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement released by the Office of the Press Secretary, the Presidency dismissed these claims as false and clarified Santo&#8217;s whereabouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&#8220;The Office of the President has noted false rumors circulating on social media concerning the President&#8217;s private secretary and alleged tensions within the office,&#8221; the statement read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Presidency categorically rejected the claims, stating, &#8220;The Private Secretary continues to serve the President and maintains cordial working relationships with colleagues across government.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It further clarified that &#8220;Akol Santo is currently outside the country on an assigned official mission and will return shortly.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The statement warned against misrepresenting Santo&#8217;s absence or using it to fuel speculation about his responsibilities and relationships with other government officials.
