LWF’s engagement in South Sudan dates back to 1973, when it first established its presence in what was then the southern region of Sudan. The organization remained operational until 1983, when its activities were supported through related agencies such as the Sudan Ecumenical Council (SEC) and later the Church Ecumenical Action in Sudan (CEAS). In 2008, LWF was officially registered in South Sudan as LWF South Sudan, marking a new chapter in its long-standing commitment to serving vulnerable communities. Today, LWF South Sudan operates in Central Equatoria, Jonglei, Upper Nile, Ruweng Administrative Area, and Eastern Equatoria, implementing life-saving and resilience-building programs that promote dignity, justice, and sustainable development for all.

Lutheran World Federation (LWF) plans to engage qualified companies for the supply and renovation of schools located in Magwi and Ajuongthok, as per the scope of work described below.

Accordingly, LWF invites interested, eligible, and competent companies to participate in this process by submitting their bids through the e-procurement platform.
